Our Mission

To help you resolve any changing body issues and middle-age existential crises so you can reclaim health, energy and purpose.

To help you adopt new, creative ways of eating that bring you into line with a more healthful you.

To help you achieve your own personal goals for health and well-being, whatever they might be!

All in all I feel fantastic. I feel happy and healthy. I am giddy while making dinner. I have tons of energy. I love that our fridge is full and the freezer is devoid of ready-meals. I love how delicious everything tastes. I am bursting with pride every time I sit down to a meal that I made.
Mostly I am proud that I have taken this step toward taking care of myself.

about anne

I started out as a geographer. An avid traveller, there was almost nowhere I wouldn't go. And one of the best aspects of discovering the world was visiting the food markets, local groceries, and trying the region's specialties. Food has always been a big feature in my life.  But I wanted to eat everything and still stay slim....vanity, sigh. What can I say?

Fast forward several years and I discovered after doing yet another silly diet that my digestive system felt destroyed.  I went to see a naturapathic nutritionist who helped me discover that I cannot tolerate cow dairy (that old A2!), that sugar makes my tongue go wonky, that eating more greens makes my energy soar, and that homemade almond milk is the best! I started down a path of experimenting with different ways of eating to see how my body felt and settled on a plant-based diet. This is where I feel most alive. I focus on vegetables & fruit, whole grains, legumes, nuts & seeds, good fats and the occasional egg or piece of fish. But I believe in bio-individuality and that we each need to find the way of eating that works for us - it's not one size fits all.

Luckily I've moved past my younger vain self and now look at food as nourishment, focusing more on whole-body health rather than how I look. I've completed coursework at the College of Naturopathic Medicine as well as the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I truly believe that if you nourish your body (and mind!) and make the aim to be as healthy as possible that your body will naturally settle at its ideal weight.

Come join me on the journey to true nourishment and health. Your body will thank you!
